The Third Way: A new way to teach and learn It's time for a radical change in teaching methods and curricula. Third Way methods facilitate powerful learning in non-traditional settings.

The Third Way: A new way to teach and learn
Third Way teachers, tutors, and parents are trained to use their own skillful talk to guide students into new ways of thinking. We call this the art of conversational teaching.
The Third Way: A new way to teach and learn

People often ask why these programs and methods are called ‘The Third Way.’ If you consider classroom instruction to be the “first” way, and “technology” to be the second way, this is the “third” way – methods and curriculum specifically designed to take advantage of the powerful learning opportunities possible when working one on one, in small groups, and in other less formal educational settings. These programs are the result of a 25 year study of how students learn outside the classroom. The goal is to give any interested adult the tools to be a skilful tutor/teacher, and give students the skills that come with stress free, mastery learning.
